Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.
Here we go!!!
1. Growing up, I had pet turtles, hermit crabs, gold fishes (one of them committed suicide by getting stuck underneath a cave/bridge decoration thing), and a pond of koi fishes. The latter were my favorites.
2. I used to play nintendo and super nintendo because my dad really wanted a boy. He even got me the bazooka. check it out: HERE
3. My “real” first name is Andri. Angelina is my middle name. I go by it because Andri is a boy’s name in Indonesian. There were 4 Andri’s in my 7th grade class, and I was the only one that was a girl.
4. I have a second middle name, which only some of you know, which I hope to get rid of one day for personal reasons.
5. I’ve always wanted to go hang-gliding and also learn how to fly a small airplane.
6. I love to dance. I did Indonesian folk dances, jazz, ballet, and modern. I’m not very good anymore, but I still love doing it. I regret not trying out for the Orchesis in high school.
7. I LOVE spas. Massages, facials, body scrubs, body soaks, etc… I love them all.
8. My favorite numbers are 58 and 23. Can you guess why?
9. I only lived in LA for 2 years but when asked where I’m from I say I’m from California.
10. When I’m bored I like to clean, organize, and cook.
11. I really really want that KitchenAid Artisan Stand-Mixer in RED. I don’t know what I’m going to use it for because I’m not a baker – but it’s just so beautiful! I must have it in my kitchen.
12. In high school, I did not play any musical instruments and I did not play tennis. I was in the playhouse instead – fixing costumes and singing in the chorus for a musical. I still have the video from Carousel, you can spot me real quickly from my black hair!
13. I’m a big “starter” but not a big “finisher” – especially for the books I started to read. I need to learn to do that more for my own sake.
14. I love making to do lists and crossing things out. It makes me feel accomplished. Sometimes, when I do something I consider significant but was not originally on my list, I’d write it down anyway and cross it out right after. Try it, it’s satisfying.
15. I love winter coats, but that’s about the only thing I like about winter.
16. Cheeseburger and animal-style fries with Neapolitan shake. I miss In N Out.
17. My grandfather is one of the most important people in my life. I grew up in his house and always respect his values. I miss him. I want him to walk me down the aisle when I get married.
18. I like the Santa Monica Pier. Brian promised he would let me ride the Ferris wheel there but we still haven’t done it yet.
19. Every time before I visit Indonesia, I make a long list of the foods I want to eat. The top three would be: Ayam Taliwang, Belayak/Sate Ampet, and Rujak Lombok (google them! they’re delish).
20. I like trying out new restaurants and fine dining. There’s something about dim lights, candles, and a nice table setting. O and I LOVE CEVICHES.
21. As much as I don’t believe in horoscopes/zodiacs, I’m a Leo and many of my characteristics resemble those they say about a Leo. I’m stubborn, bossy, and I like to be in control of everything around me. Hehehe…
22. I bite my nails. It’s a very bad habit that I’ve been trying to get over for years now!!!
23. My favorite Jamba Juice is “Original-Size Carribean Passion with [daily vitamin/energy] boost.”
24. I’m a planner by nature. I’m organized and I like things to be certain ways. In the past year though, I’ve noticed that I’ve learned to let go and be a little more “go with the flow.” That doesn’t mean I don’t get annoyed at myself for not having more structures in the things happening around me.
25. After all this time, I still am fascinated by the world of hotels and special events. We’ll see, later in life. Maybe I should have been a hotelie.
